Art Calendar
Let’s create an
art calendar for next year. Designing an art calendar is fun and very
creative. An art calendar is a neat thing to have for yourself and also
makes an original gift.

First you should
decide if there is a theme to your art calendar. Do you want to focus
on digital art or maybe cartoon art that you have created yourself?
Are you interested in fine art photography? If you have a talent in
that area you will be able to design a fabulous art calendar.
The next thing to decide is if you will be doing just one main page of
artwork for the art calendar. You can have one main page or a page for
each month. If you opt for the page a month do you want the art
calendar to portray that month? For instance, maybe you would feature
religious art on the December page for Christmas or light house art on
a July or August page. Another way to go is to have the entire
calendar feature rainbow art, landscape art or fantasy art, etc. It’s
all up to you and what you have to work with.
You could look in an art book or at an art and craft supply store for
ideas and supplies. There are art magazines that have really good
ideas that you could use when creating your art calendar.
If you have a computer it will be pretty easy to put your art calendar
together. Let’s say you choose animal art and have drawn or
photographed the subjects you plan to use. You can use computer art
and a scanner to enhance your images for the art calendar. Another
thought is to use digital art or computer art to collage different
images together for a very unique look.
When you are ready to print your art calendar there are several places
that will print it and put the art calendar together for you. Check
around for the prices and time it will take for the company to print
the art calendar.
Creating an art calendar will be a project that you will enjoy working
on and that others will appreciate receiving.......
